Elijah Youngblood “John” of Hollywood, SC, departed this life Monday, December 10, 2012.
He is survived by his beloved wife, Mae Belle C. Youngblood; children, Evangeline Youngblood, Andrea Y. Woodley, Jennifer Youngblood and Celeste D. Youngblood; grandchildren, Mario A. Youngblood, Ashley N. Brewer, Brianna M. Youngblood, Caitlin L. Youngblood; great-grandchildren, Jacorey and Omari, siblings, sisters-in-law, brothers-in-law, aunts, nieces, nephews, cousins and a host of other relatives and friends.
He was employed by various building supply companies throughout his lifetime. After forty years of dedicated service he retired from Prime Building Supplies and Wickes Lumber and Building Supplies and was subsequently employed for ten years as Store Manager at Rudy’s One Stop. At the conclusion of his employment in 2004, he worked part-time at Builders First Source.
