Tammy Lynch

Charleston, South Carolina

Tammy Diane Lynch, 61, of Huger, South Carolina, passed away peacefully on Thursday, March 12, 2026, surrounded by the ones she loved most. She was born October 11, 1964. She always said that was the year the Beatles became big in the U.S.

Tammy was a strong and resilient woman who spent many years battling multiple illnesses that kept her in constant pain. Despite everything she faced, she remained one of the toughest people you could ever meet. She was known for speaking her mind and telling things exactly how they were, never sugarcoating the truth. Tammy had a big heart and would help anyone in need without asking questions.

She was preceded in death by her beloved son, Zachery "Zach" Jones; her mother, Aileen E. Lynch; her father, Jiles "Beadie" Lynch of Huger, South Carolina; and her brothers, Gerald Lynch, Ronnie Lynch, and Don Lynch.

Tammy is survived by her daughter, Lana Conlee and her husband, Xavier, of Bonneau, South Carolina. She also leaves behind her cherished granddaughters, Dixianna "Dixi" Conlee and Xavianna "Xavi" Conlee, who were her pride and joy and whom she loved with all her heart.

She is also survived by her last remaining sibling, Phyllis Faircloth and her husband, LG, of Autryville, North Carolina; her nephew, Donald "Donny" Lynch and his wife, Melissa, of Huger, South Carolina, who cared for her endlessly and lovingly until her final breath; and many other nieces, nephews, and cousins whom she cared for.

Tammy shared a very special bond with her mother, Aileen, whom she lived with and who cared deeply for her until her own passing just seven months ago. The loss of her mother weighed heavily on Tammy, and she struggled with the thought of continuing on without her. Now we find so much comfort knowing she has been reunited with her son, parents, siblings, and all the loved ones who went before her.

Tammy had many little things that made her uniquely her -- from always keeping her green medicated Blistex close by, to her well-known "cigarette fork," and her favorite pink stuffed "gay" rabbit pillow that was never far from her side. She would inform everyone that it was a boy just because it was pink, saying he was gay -- but she was not. Those small things were just part of the everyday Tammy that everyone who loved her will always remember.

She enjoyed spending her days watching Hallmark and Lifetime movies. She never missed her daily shows like The Young and the Restless, The Bold and the Beautiful, The Price Is Right, Wheel of Fortune, and Jeopardy. If she wasn't home, she would have them recorded and ready for when she returned. Those shows were a part of her everyday routine and something she truly looked forward to.

Tammy also had a deep love for her animals, especially her dog, Suki Marie Lynch, who already feels her absence and misses her dearly.

Though our hearts are broken here on earth, we know Tammy is finally free from pain and suffering. We take comfort in knowing she is dancing in heaven, celebrating and catching up with those she loved. Anyone who knew Tammy knows she was never one to hold back, and we're sure she's already telling everyone up there exactly how it is, all while enjoying a cold "top shelf of the fridge" Bud Light with the best of them.

Until we meet again, keep the Bud Lights cold and save us a seat.

"He will wipe every tear from their eyes. There will be no more death or mourning or crying or pain, for the old order of things has passed away." -- Revelation 21:4
