KIMBERLY CAVER-MATTHEWS Obituary (1965

Kimberly Caver-Matthews, age 47, entered into eternal rest on Monday, April 1, 2013. She was preceded in death by her father, Gordon "Jack" Caver and her mother, Ruth Evelyn Caver. She graduated in 1983 from West End High School. Kim is survived by two devoted sons, Mark Anthony Matthews and Kevin Deshawn Matthews both of Columbia, SC; one devoted daughter, Ashle' Monet Matthews of Tuscaloosa, AL; two brothers, Michael Caver of Brooklyn, NY and Gordon Caver, Jr. of Mobile, AL; three sisters: Valorie (Eddie) Winn of Birmingham, AL, Carolyn (Ronald) Gordon and Pamela (Jerome) Davis both of Tuskegee, AL; two aunts, Cordelia Taylor Asberry of Detroit, MI and Vickie Caver-Mays of Birmingham, AL; one uncle, James Caver of Trenton, NJ; (Kim was very close to all of her nieces and nephews who will miss her dearly): Karan (Derrick) Green, Terry (LaShonda) Caver, Daryl Caver, Derek Caver, Christopher Winn, Jerome Davis Jr, Eddie Winn, III, Carmika Henning, Michael Caver-Freeman and Earl Marable; three great-nieces, five great-nephews, cousins, close friends; special friends: Belinda, Vivian, Pat (Diane), Sonya, Latrenda and the entire West End High School Class of 1983; devoted God-mothers to Mark, Ashle' and Kevin; Angela Link and Kimberley Glenn both of Detroit, MI and a host of other loving relatives and sympathetic friends.
