Your work is speaking for you now. You had your ups and your downs, happy and sad days. You wept and you smiled, and yes, you laughed with us all. Girl, you have always been my queen, my pride and joy. Thank you for coming into our lives November 27, 1968. You really were a beatiful, bouncing baby. I didn't realize then that you would grow up to be a vibrant, ambitious young mother of three. You kept on striving for better days; graduating from high school and from Vadosta State University, receiving your Bachelor of Science Degree, as well as your Masters Degree while raising three children. You, my angel, were a loving and caring mother and godmother. Tell Miaciah and JeLani , my other two angels, that Granny, Uncle Nate and Uncle Dewayne love them. Tell them Granny said do not be afraid because they are now with the greatest Granny (God) there is! Joy, my baby and only girl, Miaciah, and JaLani, God knows I love you all and will miss you terribly. Take care my angeles. Coporal Joy Antuan Deleston, 39, went home to be with the Lord along with her baby girls Miaciah, 11, and Jelani, 4, on Thursday, February 28, 2008. She was the loving daughter of Mildred Joan and the late Nathaniel (Judge) Deleston; mother of Anthony Terrell Jr. and sister of Nathaniel Dewight Deleston (Ret. United States Army) and Dwayne Curtise Deleston.
